Rolling chassis

I've just spent two weeks back in New Zealand, including a few days in the garage working on Herald #2. The rolling chassis has gone back to my engineer friend for some more fabrication work, to install a better diff, add a backbone to make it more rigid and improve the front suspension's geometry.

Loading onto the car transporter, sans body tub

Well, he wanted written instructions!

Andrew's son liked the new lightweight concept

That chassis looks like it is modified at the rear. How will you get the tub back over the rear suspension? + will you lose the rear seats?

Yep, it's been modified, and we're not finished yet. The beauty of working with a coupe is that it doesn't need to have a back seat. At the moment the body tub's floor has been removed where necessary to allow it to fit over the chassis. the next step will be to make a new boot floor, and flare the wheel arches (tastefully of course).
