Outdoor exposure

I had to be on site early this morning to organise drilling, track maintenance and data logging. Rather than set out at 5am, I decided to pitch my tent in the nearby Lake Elphinstone camp ground. This being Australia it's usually dry, but for a change is fairly full. Lots of bird life, cattle wandering through, and a happy little bat eating insects attracted to my lights. It was pretty cold, but a New Zealand sleeping bag kept me pretty toasty.

Anyway I took a couple of long exposure sky shots, and this is the best:
